A Silent Auction is when you have a chance of buying items by making a bid, that is, you use your first initial, last name, and phone number, and write down the amount of money that you are willing to pay for the item. Another person may come by and want the same item so he/she may offer more money, making a higher bid. At the end of the auction, the person with the highest bid goes home with the item.
Silent Auction bidding can start when guests start to arrive. Guests can bid on an item as many times as they choose. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the Silent Auction will be donated to the American Cancer Society.

An auctioneer will conduct the live auction. Many of the items donated by our sponsors and donors will be auctioned off in this way. The process is not difficult. Numbered auction paddles will be in every seat. This paddle will be used during the live auction. When you wish to bid on an item, you simply hold up your paddle. The auctioneer will recognize you and ask if anyone wants to bid higher. The last person who bids on the item will be the winner.
One hundred percent of the proceeds from the Live Auction will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
