The Breast Cancer Awareness Organization is currently making plans for the 10th Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Tea. We are asking for your donation to our Auction, which helps to raise crucial funds benefiting those affected by cancer.

The money raised through the Auctions will help to fund educational programs and services as well as provide breast prostheses and wigs to survivors.

Please know that you will be making a huge difference in the lives of many and we appreciate your support toward the fight against breast cancer. Help us to continue the fight and our "Journey To A CURE".

To make a donation please click on the Auction DOC Form link below. Thank you for your generosity!

2008 Auction Items
Items will be added often starting May 01, 2008 so please visited often to view the changes

**Some items may be combined to make them more marketable.
Items could be moved from the Silent Auction to the Live Auction or from the Live Auction to the Silent Auction.

What is a live auction?

The larger ticket items are the items that will be auctioned off in this way. However, do not be afraid. The process is not difficult. When you first arrive at the tea and register, you will receive a numbered paddle. This paddle will be used during the live auction. When you wish to bid on an item, you simply hold up your paddle. The auctioneer will recognize you and ask if anyone wants to bid higher. The last person who bids on the item will be responsible for making payment at the end of the auction.

The live auction will be conducted with items donated from our sponsors, patrons, and the Breast Cancer Awareness Organization. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the Auction will be donated to the American Cancer Society. You will need to use your numbered paddle to bid on the wonderful variety of items. If you have any questions, an auction assistant or your table hostess will assist you.

What is a Silent Auction?
A Silent Auction is when you have a chance of buying items by making a bid. You use your paddle number, first initial and last name to write down the amount of money that you would be willing to pay for the item. Another person may come by and want the same item so he/she may offer more money, making a higher bid. At the end of the auction, the person with the highest bid goes home with the item.
Silent Auction bidding can start when guests start to arrive. Guests can bid on an item as many times as they choose. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the Silent Auction will be donated to the American Cancer Society. Most items will have increments of five dollars.
